JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and design using 3D CAD and AutoCAD2000 or later
• Involvement with new machinery and facilities and recommend or select efficient combinations
• Work with flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures
• Involvement in product and design and cost of production working independently and in teams

WORKING CONDITIONS
Rampf Molds Industries, Inc., an established manufacturer of steel molds for the concrete industry at the Hagerstown, MD manufacturing facility.  Work performed typically in an office setting, with occasional visits to productionfloor.
 
SKILLS, COMPETENCIES
 
Education/Training
Completed AA degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology OR equivalent   
Minimum of 3 years experience as design engineer Work directly with shop personnel
Work with various software packages AutoCAD 2000 or later knowledge required Proficient in at
least one 3D CAD package. Must understand basics of weldment designs Basic knowledge of
machining processes must be attentive to details
 
Communication
Excellent Leadership & Communication Skills, Problem solving capabilities, must be able to speak, read, write English, other languages may be considered an asset

Skills
Able to interpret statistical data, spreadsheets, blueprints, knowledge of tool and die industry, MS Office Suite, Visual, AutoCAD 2000 or later and at least one 3D CAD package
 
Hours
Full Time Hours with Overtime Required (To be discussed)
 
SalaryRange
